- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- 2 sticks Margarine
- 1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1 teasp salt
- 1/2 teasp vanilla
- 1 teasp baking soda
- 6 quarts popped popcorn
- nutmeats if desired

- Boil brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Stir into
- popped popcorn and spread in large roaster pan. Place
- in 200 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and spread out on waxed paper and
- break into edible size pieces. Store in tightly covered
- containers.
